Our History

2002

Modern Celeb Magazine is founded as the pioneer in online vertical publishing in Asia.

2006

Samsung, Van Cleef & Arpels, IWC and Piaget sign advertising contracts with Modern Celeb Magazine – brands who understood the significance of niche online advertising early to reach their affluent audience.

2008

Modern Celeb Magazine is changing its name in Celeb Asia Magazine and increases its footprint in Southeast Asia with the launch of Singapore and Thailand.

2010

Celeb Asia  launches the first responsive technology site in its niche in Asia. Video content is introduced and the site launches in Malaysia following the successful launch of Thailand and Indonesia.

2012

The site is awarded the prestigious awards for the second year in a row. Version 4 of Celeb Asia is launched.

2013

Traffic is increasingly shifting to smartphone and tablets. Italian luxury brands such as Gucci, Bottega Veneta and Tod’s sign regional advertising contracts.

2017

Version 5 of  Celeb Asia is launched in May. New technology includes touch-enabled features, a mobile-first approach,exclusive content from around the world, full screen experience and retina display-ready images.
